Our New Summer Menu Has Landed!

Our new summer menu is now up and running, have you tried it yet? – it’s jam packed with summer vibes in preparation for the warmer weather!

So, what’s new?… We have launched a fabulous new Drinks, Mains, Children’s and Dessert Menu.

First off, Let us introduce some of our new starters, we have a ‘baked goats cheese & sun blushed tomato cheesecake’ which is served with red onion relish, olives and toasted chia seeds, and better yet it’s suitable for vegetarians. Looking for gluten free options? Don’t worry, we’ve made sure we have included a range of gluten free dishes for you including a ‘Cajun Chicken Thigh Skewer’… served with creamed sweetcorn, crispy tortillas and Millstone BBQ beans. We also have a ‘Scallop and King Prawn Fritter’ available along with ‘Quinoa and Chick Pea Koftas’. Our homemade soup of the day and goosnargh chicken liver paté are also both available as a gluten free option.

We have some exciting new main dishes up for grabs which is also suitable for vegetarians and gluten free including; pan fried bream fillet, served with crispy crab kofta, crushed olive and tomato potatoes, courgette spirals, coconut, turmeric and ginger sauce. Blackened goosnargh chicken breast, served with thai green sweet potato gratin, chargrilled red pepper relish, coriander sour cream, mango puree. Feast your eyes on our quality 35 day dry aged Welsh celtic pride beef,  and if you’re after something to share, we’ve got you covered!

Choose between two sharing platters, fancy something meaty? Pick our butches block’, which includes cajun chicken skewers, spanish charcuturie meats, chicken liver paté, vaughan’s pork and leek sausages, apricot, apple and ginger chutney, mixed olives and baked breads. Or if you prefer something out of the sea then the ‘fishmongers feast’ is the one for you!.. Get stuck into some monkfish cheek scampi, scallop and king prawn fritter, crab koftas, scottish smoked salmon, lime and saffron mayonnaise, mixed olives, baked bread and a tamarind and chilli sauce. View the full mains menu here

Next up!…Desserts!

Finish your meal off with one of our amazing desserts… There’s a mango and passion fruit cheesecake, sticky chocolatey, apricot and toffee pudding, rhubarb and custard tart, carrot and walnut cake, one of our old favourites…the belgian waffle, did someone say pannacotta?…yep.. we have one of those too! It’s vanilla, lemon and honey flavoured, plus, it’s not just any honey, it’s Penyffordd’s very own homemade honey! View the full dessert menu here
