In March this year, we had the delight of hosting Mark Williams from The Daily Post, albeit we had absolutely no clue who he was or that he was reviewing our restaurant as part of a newspaper feature.
Mark and his wife put our menu and service to the test and we’re proud to share the wonderful feedback we received. They ordered a sumptuous three-course meal from our evening menu. Starting with the Bury black pudding and chorizo crostini with potted ham hock Milano salami to start before moving onto the homemade Welsh Celtic pride beef burger and Steve Vaughan’s gammon steak with free-range egg and hand cut chips.
They couldn’t leave without sampling the desert menu, and they did just that! Opting for the popular sharing platter of lemon curd meringue cheesecake, golden syrup and ginger sponge, salted caramel and chocolate profiteroles and Belgian waffle with raspberry ripple ice cream.
After an overall pleasurable experience, Mark stated, “this place will suit food lovers of any description whether you have a sweet tooth or not”.
